He became a resident of Eventide Lutheran Home in 1970. Adolph farmed his entire career and retired in 1957 moving to Denison. They made their home on the farm known as the six mile house in Goodrich Township, Crawford County. On February 21, 1917, Adolph was united in marriage to Bertha Albertson at Midway, Iowa. He was baptized and later confirmed into the Lutheran faith. He died on Thursday, September 8, 1997, at Crawford County Memorial Hospital, Denison, Iowa at the age 82.Īdolph was raised on the family farm and received his formal education in the rural schools of the area.
